 Code of Conduct

  1. Wear your BA Tag and Call Sign correctly and proudly. All members are expected to wear their tag when engaged in play on any Nova listed server. This identifies you as an official member of BA. If you do not wear it correctly, we will assume you no longer want to be a member and will take appropriate actions.

  2. As a member of the Battlefield Angels, you are expected to conduct yourself with honor at all times on all servers. Unruly behaviour will not be tolerated. Disrespect for members or guests on our servers will not be tolerated. As a member of the Battlefield Angels, you agree to treat others with respect and honor.

  3. Foul language is discouraged in the BA forum and in the games.

  4. BA adamantly detests the use of cheats, trainers and any game or connection modification that would intentionally create an unlevelled field of play. Any member caught and confirmed as cheating by their peers will be banned from BA permanently.

  5. When members become aware of rule violations of other members they have a duty to the squad to report it. A fair and impartial investigation will be done by the Command to make sure the allegations are correct. Higher ranked members shouldn't abuse their rank. Any member can report members that abuse their rank.

 Call Sign

  1. Your call sign is your identification in the gaming community. You will become well known by your Call sign so choose it carefully.

  2. Your call sign is restricted to 15 characters in TFD and 16 characters in JO – of these, 7 are reserved for BA members so ensure your name is no more than 8 characters long.

  3. Call Signs must not have SPACES or unusual characters in them that NovaWorld won’t accept.

  4. Make sure the call sign you choose is one that will last you throughout your time with BA. Changing call signs is strongly discouraged, and permitted only under special circumstances.

  5. Tag formats are: BA-<3 letter Rank>.<Call Sign>

  6. ba-Rec.<Call Sign> for recruits.

 Inactive Members

  • A member can be deemed inactive at the discretion of the Generals if they are not seen to be playing or posting in the forum for extended periods of time. In the event someone is deemed Inactive they will be emailed and given a chance to become more active before being asked to leave the squad.

  • We understand that this is "just a game" and there are times that life will not make it possible to be around – if this is the case we appreciate a quick post saying you won’t be around for a while in the forum or an email to one of the command staff (if possible) – don’t just tell a friend.

 Complaint Procedures

  • Complaints against BA members are taken seriously and will always be investigated by the Generals.

  • Any Person with a complaint against a BA member can E-Mail any of the Generals at any time with the relevant details. However in order to fully investigate the complaint, the person submitting the complaint must also include the offenders Name, otherwise the complaint can not be taken seriously.

  • The Generals may consult the other Command Staff or members of the squad for additional information before making any choices.

 Membership Requirements

  1. You must have a full version of Delta Force Land Warrior, Task Force Dagger, Black Hawk Down, or Joint Operations and the newest available updates.

  2. You must download and install the latest version of MSN Messenger and setup a .NET account and put details of this on your Profile in the forum. Please ask any existing member if you need help with this.

  3. You must register on the BA website so you have access to the forum. You are expected to visit and make use of the forums.

  4. You are encouraged to visit the website/forum regularly. Our website is for you and is a tool used to communicate squad related events so use this to stay up to date with the squad. It is not our responsibility to track each member down to explain events and related information.

  5. All members of the BA are expected to play with other BA members as much as possible.

  6. You are encouraged to participate in as many official/training events as possible.

  7. As a member of BA, you agree that you will not be a member of any other Squad playing Combat First-Person Shooters (FPS) games.

  8. Most members of BA use TeamSpeak when playing and it and it adds an extra dimension of fun and allows us to play in a more cohesive style so although TeamSpeak and a headset are not a requirement but are highly recommended!

 New Applicants

  1. You must be at least 18 years of age to join BA.

  2. If you would like to become a member of BA, you may fill out an application on the BA website.

  3. Once an application is filled out, we will contact you within seven days to inform you of the status of your application.

  4. We then suggest you join as many BA servers/players as possible. This will increase your exposure to the BA team members.

  5. All new members will be on a 30-day probationary period where existing squad members will post comments on you in a private evaluation area of the forum.
